Project Objective
To support the end-to-end preparation, transformation, and migration of legacy data into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. To ensure accurate, high-quality, and reconciled data migration through robust data mapping, SQL-based transformation, SAP Migration Cockpit execution, and validation.

Project Description
The consultant will manage data migration activities from legacy systems, BO reports, Excel files, databases, and other approved sources into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The role will involve source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, SQL-based transformation, value mapping, migration template preparation, and data loading through SAP Migration Cockpit.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and data owners to define mapping rules, resolve data issues, and validate business requirements. Responsibilities will also include mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production cutover, load-error resolution, and pre-/post-load reconciliation.

Desired Profile




Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Data Migration
Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit Mandatory
Solid understanding of SAP master and transactional data objects
Knowledge of data structures across Finance, Procurement, Project Systems, Customer, Supplier, and Asset domains
Advanced SQL Server development skills, including:
SQL queries
Views
Stored procedures
Transformation scripts
Experience in ETL, data extraction, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation
Strong Excel data preparation and manipulation skills
Experience with staging databases and large data volumes
Strong capabilities in data reconciliation and migration validation
Ability to conduct data mapping workshops and liaise with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams
Experience managing data migration activities, mock loads, cutover, and business sign-off.
