Role Description The Territory Sales Executive role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for driving sales of Macmillan Education’s products and services within the assigned territory, including schools, institutions, and educational partners. Daily activities include meeting with decision-makers, conducting product presentations and demos, following up on leads, negotiating and closing sales,



and ensuring timely order processing and collections. The role involves planning and executing territory sales strategies, tracking performance against targets, and reporting market feedback and competitor activity to internal teams. The Territory Sales Executive will collaborate closely with marketing, academic, and operations teams to support local events, teacher training initiatives, and customer retention activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in educational publishing, FMCG, or related sales roles, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong relationship-building and customer management skills, with the ability to engage school leaders, teachers, and institutional stakeholders.
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including confident public speaking and product demonstration skills.
Solid territory planning, market analysis, and basic data/reporting skills to manage
