Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will monitor project costs, analyze variances, and support pricing decisions to ensure profitability across residential and commercial projects. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with external auditors, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with leadership and project teams to provide financial insights,



support strategic planning, and contribute to process improvements in financial controls and systems.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for project-based businesses.
- Experience in financial reporting, management accounting, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the construction or interior design sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP tools, as well as advanced Excel skills for modeling and data analysis.
- Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in cost control, pricing analysis, and profitability assessment for multi-site operations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities with a focus on accuracy.
- Transparent and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in interior design, construction, real estate, or a project-oriented environment.
