To plan and deliver effective Accountancy lessons for Classes XI and XII, develop students’ conceptual understanding and practical application of accounting principles, and prepare them for CBSE Board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Accountancy lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
Teach concepts such as Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance, Financial Statements, Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts, and Cash Flow Statements.
Develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.
Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through revision, practice tests, and remedial support.
Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support to students.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.




Use appropriate teaching aids and digital tools to make learning effective.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, departmental meetings, school events, and academic activities.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve students’ academic performance.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Educational Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Robust knowledge of the CBSE Class XI & XII Accountancy curriculum.
Experience
5+ years of teaching experience as a PGT -Accountancy in a reputed school.
Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board examinations is preferred.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
