The role in one line:
You will cut the short-form videos that five automotive brands run on Instagram, YouTube and other Meta and Social platforms.

Who we are:
Trident Automobiles is one of Karnataka's largest multi-brand dealer groups: Hyundai, Renault, BharatBenz, JCB and Trident Trust (used cars). Around 3,500 people across sales, service and parts. For over 2 years now, we've been building the digital team in-house rather than outsourcing it. That means the person we hire is not producing decks for a client. You are producing the thing that goes live, that day, to a real audience, and you will see what it did.

What you will actually do:
Cut vertical short-form video (reels, shorts) from raw footage shot at our branches and events
Turn walkarounds, delivery moments, service explainers and offer announcements into content people finish watching
Hold a consistent look per brand across five brands with genuinely different audiences (a JCB backhoe buyer and a Hyundai first-car buyer are not the same person)
Work with the digital marketing team on concepts, not just execution.



If you have a better idea than the brief, we want it
Build and maintain the asset library so output scales: templates, logo packs, music beds, b-roll, so the tenth video takes less time than the first
Ship to deadline. Automotive content is time-bound, since an offer that goes live two days late is a wasted offer

What we need you to have:
Storytelling and editing short-form video skills, ideally for brands or agencies with real posting volume
Fluency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, plus After Effects or equivalent for motion graphics, and CapCut for speed work
Demonstrable command of vertical format: hooks in the first two seconds, pacing, on-screen text, captions, secure zones for each platform
Sound editing you do not need help with: levels, music selection, voiceover cleanup, ducking
Colour grading that holds up across footage shot on different phones and cameras in bad showroom li
