About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer - LSR Process to drive the development, qualification, and optimization of LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) processes for advanced BGA and precision component manufacturing. The role requires solid expertise in glass handling, LSR removal processes, automation systems, chemical handling, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to establish robust manufacturing processes while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
LSR Process Development & Qualification
Lead process development, validation, and qualification activities for LSR manufacturing processes.
Drive technical development and prove-out of glass cleaning, glass preparation, buffing, plasma treatment, primer application, and LSR removal processes.
Review process designs and automation concepts to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
Conduct process trials, evaluate results,



and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
Support Release-to-Manufacturing (RTM) activities and ensure process readiness.
Automation & Engineering Support
Act as the primary technical point of contact for automation-related activities within LSR processes.
Collaborate with automation teams to optimize equipment performance and process reliability.
Support integration of mechanical systems, pick-and-place mechanisms, pneumatic systems, and automated handling solutions.
Drive troubleshooting and technical resolution of process and equipment-related issues.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Lead Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA) activities for process-related issues.
Analyze process performance data and identify opportunities for quality, yield, and productivity improvements.
Participate in customer reviews and cross-functional technical discussions.
