ACCOUNT HEAD – VACANCY

Position: Account Head / Senior Accounts Manager
Experience: 5+ years preferred

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Account Head who can independently manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations and lead a team of 8–10 Accounts Executives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the complete day-to-day accounting operations.
Maintain and review daily ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, purchase and sales accounts.
Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and accounting records.
Lead and monitor a team of 8–10 Accounts Executives and ensure work is completed on time.
Supervise and ensure timely billing, invoicing, purchase entries and sales entries.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Ensure timely GST returns, TDS returns, income-tax related compliance and other statutory filings.
Handle complete GST, TDS, taxation and statutory accounting compliance.
Coordinate with CA, auditors, consultants, banks and government departments whenever required.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports and accounting statements.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable accounting and taxation laws.
Identify accounting errors and discrepancies and ensure timely rectification.
Maintain proper records for audits and tax assessments.
Establish accounting controls and ensure internal financial discipline.
Ensure all accounting and compliance activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
Robust practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliances.
Strong experience in billing and ledger management.
Ability to independently manage the complete accounts department.
Proven ability to manage and supervise a team of 8–10 people.
Valuable knowledge of accounting software such as Tally / ERP / Excel.
