What Is This Job About

Compoundexpress is looking for Backend developer with proven track record in building enterprise applications. Person should be able to Write clean, efficient and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Such a person will need, superb understanding of database management and experience in Java backend development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java and related technologies.Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and related technologies.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic




Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL to design and optimize data models and queries.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply them to improve development processes.

Key Skills

EDUCATION : BTech/BE in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent qualification in related field
EXPERIENCE: 2-6 years of skilled experience in Java backend development. Preference given to candidates who have worked in Startups and/or Financial Services domain.
Needs Great understanding of Agile development, Team working, Good communication skills
Strong proficiency in Java (preferably JDK 21), with knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
