Business Development OfficerAbout the Role
MemoryTrain is looking for a driven Business Development Officer to help expand our B2B sales, corporate gifting, and retail partnerships. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting enquiries into long-term business.
Success in this position means consistently developing a healthy sales pipeline, meeting revenue targets, onboarding valuable corporate and retail partners, and representing MemoryTrain with professionalism. You will work closely with the founders and the design, production, and marketing teams to translate client requirements into commercially viable opportunities.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop recent opportunities across corporate gifting, customized products, institutional sales, and retail partnerships.
Generate leads through research, networking, referrals, exhibitions, outreach, and industry connections.
Manage the complete sales cycle—from initial contact and requirement gathering to proposals, negotiations, closure, and follow-up.




Understand client requirements, including purpose, quantity, budget, customization, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, product catalogues, and company presentations.
Build strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, procurement teams, agencies, retailers, architects, and other potential partners.
Maintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline and provide regular progress reports.
Coordinate with the design, production, and operations teams to ensure client expectations and timelines are clearly communicated.
Follow up on quotations, samples, purchase orders, payments, and repeat-business opportunities.
Represent MemoryTrain at client meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sectors and growth opportunities.
Work towards agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
