The Manager is responsible for operationalizing the internship programme at BITS Law School, Mumbai. The role drives end-to-end ownership of industry engagement, student career development, and programme performance.
The incumbent will serve as the primary liaison between the school and the legal industry, ensuring that students gain high-quality, practice-ready experience while building a robust recruiter network aligned with the school’s reputation for academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Program Development
Execute and implement the annual internship strategy aligned with the school’s academic and placement goals
Identify and establish internship goals, targets, and timelines each academic year




Formulate workflows and SOPs for end-to-end internship processes
Devise key performance metrics to monitor program effectiveness and report outcomes to senior leadership
2. Recruiter Outreach & Engagement
Identify, build, and maintain relationships with international organizations, law firms, corporate legal teams, judiciary bodies, NGOs, and policy organizations as internship hosts
Conduct outreach campaigns to onboard new recruiters and retain existing partners
Negotiate internship agreements, stipend structures, and role definitions with employer partners
Facilitate recruiter presentations, campus visits, and information sessions for students
3. Student Outreach & Counselling
Counsel students on internship opportunities, career pathways, application strategies, and skilled conduct expectations
Guide students through the internship application lifecycle, including document preparation, interview readiness, and onboarding
