Role Description The Senior Resident Clinical Haematology position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with some flexibility for work-from-home activities related to documentation, academic work, and remote meetings. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical care to patients with hematological disorders, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management under institutional protocols.



Daily responsibilities include supervising and conducting ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and procedures, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The Senior Resident is expected to participate in clinical research, contribute to academic activities such as teaching and case discussions, maintain accurate medical records, and adhere to institutional standards for patient safety and ethical practice. The role also includes engaging in quality improvement initiatives and supporting the development of evidence-based haematology services within the Institute.
Qualifications
Postgraduate medical qualification in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics (e.g., MD or equivalent) with specialized training or exposure in Clinical Haematology; eligibility for relevant medical registration in India.
Demonstrated clinical competence in diagnosing and managing
