Role Overview:

As the VP – Finance, you will be responsible for leading company's finance function across financial controllership, accounting, compliance, taxation, treasury, audits, financial planning and business finance. You will build scalable finance processes, strengthen governance, partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, and ensure financial excellence as the company continues to scale. This role requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance operational rigour with strategic thinking while working closely with founders, investors, auditors and cross functional leadership teams. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Controllership
- Develop and implement robust financial systems, processes and internal controls that support the company's rapid growth and scalability.
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Drive continuous improvements in accounting policies, governance and financial reporting quality.
- Lead statutory audits, internal audits and financial due diligence exercises.
- Ensure timely MIS reporting, financial reviews and audit closures.

2. Compliance, Taxation & Governance
- Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliances including GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations and other statutory requirements applicable to a regulated fintech.
