Overview
- Support the implementation and sustenance of HR processes, Talent Management and People Development strategies for India Sales HQ team, North unit and NRM function
- Co-responsible with LHRs and COE for strategy execution and consistent delivery of all core HR processes across geographies
- Support LHRs in strategy execution by escalating and resolving issues by working with HRBP – Category & Commercial
- Lead the All-India Sales incentive program
- Anchor all National projects for the commercial team
The role has grown in scope from being an HR partner to the North Sales unit (which is the highest revenue contributor to India Foods Business). In the new scope, this role will support North sales unit, Sales HQ functions (which are PO1 commercial capability team, PO1 ecom team, Modern trade) and Net revenue management functions
Responsibilities
- Support the HRBP in preparation and implementation of People Strategy for India Foods sales function and HQ functions
- Act as a catalyst for sustained HR performance by ensuring that HR strategies and plans are translated into concrete actions and tangible results
- Partner with Business to define and implement the overall business strategy for the North unit, Ecom team, commercial capability team, Ecom team, Up-to-date trade team, & NRM function
- Coach business leaders and other senior team members| Provide career coaching for local talent, with emphasis on developing new manager talent
- Support LHRs in strategy execution by escalating and resolving issues by working with HRBP Commercial
- Measure and track the quality of HR work by defining, prioritizing and measuring HR's contribution to business performance
- Monitor Sales productivity and effectiveness
- Partner with COEs to ensure necessary services are being delivered and desired results are achieved
- Feed local pulse to HRBP (from LHRs)
- Develop succession plan, lead people planning for the commercial function
- Ensure policy consistency/compliance
