A fire technician with of experience is typically expected to handle inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems. Here’s a clear breakdown of their daily work activities:
1. Inspection of Fire Safety Systems
- Check fire alarms, smoke detectors, heat detectors:
- Inspect sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and extinguishers:
- Ensure systems comply with safety standards and regulations:
- Maintain fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.

2.Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs of inspections and maintenance work:
- Prepare service reports and compliance checklists:
- Record any defects and corrective actions taken

3. Safety Compliance
- Follow fire and workplace safety regulations:
- Ensure all equipment meets local fire codes:
- Participate in safety audits

4. Coordination & Communication
- Work with engineers, supervisors, and site teams:




- Explain system issues or safety concerns to clients or staff

5. Emergency Response (if applicable)
- Respond to fire alarms or emergency situations:
- Support evacuation or system shutdown procedures
