Hiring: Senior News Reporter

Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand (In office)

Key Responsibilities
- Cover breaking news, political, business, crime, education, healthcare, and social affairs.
- Research, investigate, and develop exclusive news stories.
- Conduct interviews with government officials, public representatives, industry experts, and citizens.
- Verify facts, gather reliable information, and ensure accuracy before publication.
- Write clear, engaging, and unbiased news reports within strict deadlines.
- Coordinate with editors, photographers, videographers, and digital teams for comprehensive news coverage.
- Provide live reporting from the field whenever required.
- Generate story ideas and identify emerging news trends.
- Maintain a strong network of sources for exclusive updates.
- Ensure compliance with journalistic ethics, editorial guidelines,



and media laws.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of experience in news reporting with a recognized media organization.
- Excellent reporting, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of current affairs and regional, national, and international news.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
- Experience with digital publishing, mobile journalism, and social media reporting is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
