As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager to strengthen our market presence and develop long-term customer relationships.
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, generating qualified enquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the successful conversion of enquiries into business.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication, commercial understanding and relationship-building skills, preferably with experience in industrial engineering, process industries or capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across various industries.
- Generate enquiries, RFQs and new customer leads for the company’s products and services.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with EPC companies, consultants, project developers and industrial customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations and commercial discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal engineering teams to develop suitable technical solutions.
- Follow up enquiries from initial discussion through successful order closure.
- Develop new customers while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling.
- Maintain an organized database of customers, enquiries and business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure timely communication and professional customer support.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
