The Opportunity

Our team has built a strong operational foundation across Zoho, and the next step is connecting those systems into one integrated workplace. We are looking for a developer who can build the links between platforms, streamline the handoffs between departments, and automate client invoicing and subscription collection so the team can focus on client work rather than transaction processing.

This is a build role, not a helpdesk role. You will be designing and implementing integrations and automations, working directly with our Operations Director and Systems Administrator.

Key responsibilities

Zoho ecosystem integration

- Connect and optimize the Zoho One applications we use across CRM, recruitment, finance, e-signature, meetings and mail so that data flows between them without duplicate entry
- Integrate our external business tools into the Zoho environment, including our project management, communication, video conferencing and workforce tracking platforms
- Build and maintain custom modules, layouts, fields, validation rules and blueprints in Zoho CRM
- Configure role based access, profiles and permission levels so that sensitive records such as contracts, credentials and financial data are visible only to the right teams





Finance and billing automation (priority project)

- Integrate our accounting platform and payment processor with Zoho CRM to automate client invoicing end to end
- Build automated subscription and recurring payment workflows, including failed payment handling, retries and dunning notifications
- Ensure payments and deposits are automatically attributed to the correct client record and account owner
- Reconcile billing data across the payment processor, the accounting platform and the CRM so finance and account management work from the same numbers

Workflow automation

- Build automations for client lifecycle milestones and account management service cadences, including scheduled record generation, tagging and reminder triggers anchored to each client's contract start date
- Automate onboarding and offboarding workflows for both clients and deployed staff
- Write and maintain Deluge scripts, custom functions, webhooks and scheduled jobs
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership across sales, recruitment, account management and finance

Data and documentation

- Support CRM data cleanup, deduplication and ongoing hygiene rules
- Document every integration, automation and script so the work is maintainable by our internal team
- Provide light training and handover to internal system owners

Required skills and experience

- 3+ years hands on Zoho development experience, with demonstrable work on Zoho CRM and at least two other Zoho One applications




- Strong Deluge scripting ability, including custom functions, workflow rules, schedules and webhooks
- Proven experience integrating Zoho CRM with a cloud accounting platform and a payment gateway or processor
- Demonstrated experience building recurring billing or subscription automation in a live commercial environment, including handling of failed payments and retries
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth authentication, JSON, webhooks and API rate limit handling
- Experience connecting Zoho to third party SaaS tools outside the Zoho ecosystem, whether through native connectors, middleware or custom API work
- Understanding of CRM data architecture, deduplication and role based security models
- Clear written English and the ability to explain technical decisions to non technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, scope your own tasks and report progress without supervision

Nice to have

- Zoho Certified Developer or Zoho Partner experience
- Experience with an applicant tracking system, whether Zoho Recruit or another platform
- Experience with Zoho Analytics or comparable BI reporting
- Familiarity with project management, video conferencing or workforce tracking platforms commonly used by remote teams
- Experience with integration middleware such as Zapier, Make or similar
- Experience migrating between CRM platforms
- Experience supporting a staffing, recruitment or BPO business

Working arrangement

- Part time contract, approximately 20-30 hours per week to start, flexible scheduling
- Minimum 3 to 4 hours of daily overlap with Australian BNE time for collaboration with the operations team
- Weekly progress check in plus asynchronous updates via our internal communication platform
- Strong potential to increase hours or move to a longer term retainer based on delivery
