We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented ZOHO Certified Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage our daily accounting and financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records in Zoho Books, coordinating with vendors and clients, and supporting our internal operations team.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in Zoho Books, including AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and GST-compliant invoicing
- Handle GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance for a trading/export-oriented business
- Maintain purchase order → bill workflows in Zoho Books, working closely with the procurement team
- Track and reconcile the company's overdraft (OD) facility, part-payments, and interest accruals
- Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow summaries, and margin reports
- Support month-end/year-end closing and coordinate with our external CA for audits and tax filings
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers, follow up on receivables, and flag aging issues

Must-Haves

- Zoho Books certification (required) — hands-on experience with Zoho Books is non-negotiable
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in trading, export, shipping,



or a similar B2B goods business
- Strong working knowledge of GST (including zero-rated/export supplies), TDS, and Indian accounting standards
- Comfortable working independently and managing books for a small, fast-moving business
- Based in or willing to work on-site in Kolkata

Communication & Coordination

- Follow up with clients for outstanding payments
- Coordinate with vendors regarding payment queries
- Share weekly report of debtors & upcoming dues
- Assist operations team with documentation when needed

Reporting

- Weekly outstanding payment summary
- Monthly basic financial reports (training will be provided if needed)

Required Skills

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting
- Zoho Certified Accountant
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive communication skills (English/Hindi/Bengali)
- Ability to handle routine tasks independently

Work Details

- Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Saturday)
- Location: On-site, Kidderpore, Kolkata
- Salary: Based on experience (please mention expected salary when applying)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹18,000.00 per month
