We are looking for a skilled and responsible X-Ray Technician to join a multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating X-Ray and radiology equipment and be committed to maintaining patient safety and quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-Ray procedures as prescribed by doctors and radiologists.
- Operate and maintain X-Ray and related radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images.
- Follow established radiation safety protocols and ensure appropriate protective measures.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and required documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols for equipment handling, infection control, and workplace safety.
- Report any equipment malfunction or technical issue to the appropriate department.
Requirements
- Diploma in X-Ray Technology or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Hands-on knowledge of X-Ray and radiology equipment.
- Good understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Knowledge of patient positioning and handling procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
