We are seeking a motivated Financial Systems Data Analyst to join the core project team. The role involves implementing a global Performance Data Model by aligning the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) with the requirements of different markets.
The candidate will act as a key link between local finance teams and implementation partners, supporting FDM design, data migration and reporting adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Foundation Data Model (FDM) Alignment
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand legacy financial structures.
- Analyze cost center hierarchies and local charts of accounts.
- Map local data to the global Workday FDM.
- Work with concepts such as Cost Centers, Revenue/Spend Categories and custom organizations.
Data Migration
- Act as a key contact during data conversion cycles.
- Coordinate with markets and implementation partners.
- Provide functional guidance for Data Gathering Workbooks (DGWs).
- Support data migration for:
- Suppliers
- Customers
- GL Beginning Balances
- Business Assets
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and support successful data loads.
Reporting & Analytics
- Support adoption of Workday global reporting.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis for market-specific reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate how business requirements can be addressed through standard reports and dashboards.
- Promote global reporting solutions over unnecessary customizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial systems, ERP implementation or data analysis.
- Robust understanding of financial accounting principles, COA, P&L; structures and cost centers.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Good understanding of data quality and governance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Workday Financials / FDM experience is preferred.
