Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress website development, customization, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and delivering responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performing WordPress websites for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites from design concepts and requirements.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and functionality.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and modify existing themes based on project requirements.
- Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
- Work with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Woocommerce, Shopify, or similar tools.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, theme, plugin, and hosting-related issues.
- Perform website maintenance, updates, backups, and security improvements.
- Optimize websites for page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
- Implement basic on-page SEO requirements and ensure proper website structure.
- Integrate third-party APIs, forms, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other external services when required.
- Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, digital marketing teams, and project managers.
- Ensure websites follow best practices for security, scalability, usability, and maintainability.
- Conduct website testing and quality assurance before deployment.
- Manage website migration, domain, hosting, SSL, and DNS-related tasks when required.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, web development,



and security trends.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Good knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with MySQL/database concepts.
- Experience in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor or other popular WordPress page builders.
- Good understanding of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of website speed and performance optimization.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO and SEO-friendly website development.
- Experience with WordPress security, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.
- Good understanding of domain, hosting, cPanel, DNS, and SSL.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues.

Good to Have:

- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Experience working with Figma designs and other related items.
- Familiarity with Elementor Pro, ACF, CPT, and custom post types.
- Basic knowledge of React or modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
