Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Western Dance Teacher.

The Western Dance

Teacher will design and deliver online dance lessons that introduce and develop foundational and advanced Western dance techniques for students of varying ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities include planning class curricula, creating structured lesson plans, demonstrating dance routines, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The teacher will manage virtual classrooms, ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment,



and adjust teaching methods based on student needs and learning styles. The role also involves coordinating class schedules, preparing music playlists, and collaborating with the WinQuest Online team to enhance the overall learning experience.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Dance Instruction and Teaching, with the ability to guide learners in an online environment.
- Background in Dance and Dance Education, with knowledge of Western dance styles and techniques.
- Ability to select and use appropriate Music to support choreography and lesson flow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging teaching approach.
- Experience conducting virtual classes using video conferencing or online learning platforms.
- Proven ability to plan lessons, organize class activities, and assess student progress.
- Prior teaching experience in dance schools, studios, or online programs is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or formal training in dance or performing arts are an advantage.
