About HSIM

HSIM (Hindustan School of Internet Marketing) is a practical digital marketing institute focused on building industry-ready digital marketers through hands-on learning.

As we expand our content and digital marketing operations in Chandigarh, we're looking for a Senior Video Editor & Content Producer who can independently manage video production from shooting through final delivery.

What You'll Do

- Shoot and edit short-form content for Instagram, YouTube and other platforms
- Manage the complete workflow from Shoot → Edit → Review → Final Delivery
- Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Create strong hooks, pacing and storytelling
- Add captions, motion graphics, music and sound effects
- Perform colour correction and grading
- Select relevant creative references and editing styles
- Adapt videos for different platforms and audiences
- Organise footage and project files efficiently
- Review your own work before submission
- Incorporate feedback and maintain consistent creative standards
- Contribute creative ideas for improving content

Shooting Responsibilities You should be comfortable with:

- Framing and composition
- Basic lighting
- Clean audio recording
- Capturing multiple usable angles
- Understanding the requirements of the final edit
- Producing footage suitable for short-form content

Software Skills Strong working knowledge of relevant tools such as:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator





You should be able to independently select and use the appropriate software for each project. Monthly Production Target The initial production target is approximately:

50 short-form videos/month The focus is on maintaining consistent creative quality while meeting production targets.

- 2+ years of relevant video editing/content production experience preferred
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- Experience with professional editing software

- Basic-to-good shooting and camera skills
- Solid visual and creative judgement
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with deadlines
- Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback
