About the Role

Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledgers, journals, bank reconciliations)
- Record day-to-day transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and contractor payments
- Handle project-wise/site-wise cost accounting and budgeting

Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and handle GST reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B matching)
- Handle TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings (Form 26Q, 24Q), and issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A)
- Manage Income Tax computations, advance tax, and assist in filing annual income tax returns
- Ensure compliance with RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) financial reporting requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments for assessments and notices




- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and real estate-related regulations (Stamp Duty, Registration, RERA)

Real Estate Specific
- Track project costs, land acquisition costs, and construction-related expenses
- Handle accounting for booking amounts, installments, and customer ledgers
- Coordinate with sales team for buyer payment schedules and demand notices
- Manage escrow account compliance (RERA-mandated 70% fund utilization, if applicable)
- Support in preparing cost sheets and profitability analysis per project

Other
- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making
- Coordinate with banks for loan documentation, disbursements, and project finance
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Required Skills & Qualifications_
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (or equivalent)
- Experience: 1-3 years in accounting, preferably in real estate/construction industry
