Role Overview:
- We are seeking a competent Planning Engineer to oversee the planning and development of real estate projects from the initial feasibility stage through design development and approvals.
- The role will involve working closely with external architects, consultants, and internal management to assess development potential, evaluate alternative planning models, and arrive at the most suitable project configuration.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Feasibility
- Undertake preliminary planning and feasibility assessment of proposed real estate projects.
- Review site details, development potential, applicable planning parameters and project requirements.
- Evaluate different development models and planning options to identify the most suitable and commercially viable solution.
- Provide planning inputs and feasibility assessments to management for decision-making.
Architectural & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate with external architects and consultants for preparation and development of project plans.
- Review architectural proposals and provide inputs based on project requirements, feasibility and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate design iterations and modifications to arrive at the most suitable planning solution.
- Follow up with architects and consultants on drawings, revisions, clarifications and pending deliverables.
Planning & Regulatory Compliance
- Examine proposed plans to ensure conformity with applicable bye-laws, development control regulations and building requirements.
- Identify planning constraints and potential issues at the preliminary and design stages.
- Coordinate with architects and consultants for necessary modifications and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of statutory approvals and related submissions.
Project Documentation & Record Management
- Organise, maintain and update all project planning records, drawings, approvals, correspondence and technical documentation.
