Job Overview:
The T1/T2 - Database Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for delivering advanced Tier 1/2 support for the organization’s database environments which include SQL server, Oracle, Snowflake and AWS DB solutions like PostgreSQL. This role is focused on ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of critical DB systems by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to minimize service interruptions and maintain high data availability and integrity. Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing enterprise DB servers, and related infrastructure, as well as implementing best practices. By maintaining and enhancing the DB landscape, the T1/T2 - Database Infrastructure Support Engineer plays an essential role in supporting business continuity and safeguarding organizational data assets.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage db solutions.
- Monitor performance and capacity.
- Administer db servers.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Decommission servers
- Ensure data integrity.

What are we looking for?
Requirements:
- 6 to 12 years of experience in database engineering or administration is necessary.
