Job Description - Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Economics

Location: DPS, Kalyanpur

Role Purpose

The PGT Economics Teacher is responsible for teaching Economics to students of Classes XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster analytical thinking, economic awareness, and critical reasoning while preparing students for board examinations and higher education.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Deliver engaging lessons in:
- Microeconomics
- Macroeconomics
- Indian Economic Development
- Statistics for Economics (where applicable)
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching resources.
- Integrate current economic developments and real-world case studies into classroom teaching.
- Encourage analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.

NOTE: The salary offered will be based on your current salary.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
