Job Summary

The Automation Jr. Engineer I at Jabil, Inc. supports the design, development, and implementation of automated systems and processes, contributing to efficiency and innovation in manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of automation solutions, including robotics, PLCs, and control systems.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment and machinery.




- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Participate in the creation and review of technical documentation, schematics, and operating procedures.
- Conduct basic programming and configuration of automation components under supervision.
- Perform routine diagnostics and preventative maintenance on automated systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all automation activities.
- Provide technical support to production teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
- Familiarity with industrial automation concepts, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
