Estimation & Billing Engineer - HVAC

Location: Mumbai & Nagpur

Job Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation
- Prepare HVAC project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Perform quantity take-offs from HVAC layouts and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost sheets, and rate analysis.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with the procurement and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Participate in tender preparation and submission.

Billing
- Prepare RA Bills and Final Bills for clients.
- Verify work completed at site before billing.
- Prepare subcontractor bills and payment certifications.
- Track work progress against billing milestones.
- Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for bill approvals.

Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain project documentation and billing registers.
- Prepare variation orders, extra item statements,



and reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Accounts, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project timelines.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, Chillers, Ducting, Piping, Ventilation).
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and BOQs.
- Good understanding of project estimation and billing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Solid analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in HVAC estimation and billing.
- Freshers with relevant internships or project exposure may also apply.
