Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Website Manager, Web Developer & SEO professional who can independently manage and maintain our Shopify website, develop custom-coded websites, and take ownership of our website's SEO and organic growth.

The ideal candidate should be technically solid, comfortable with both Shopify and coded websites, and capable of managing everything from daily website health and troubleshooting to development, optimisation and SEO.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Shopify

- Take complete ownership of the day-to-day management and health of the website.
- Conduct daily checks for speed, broken links, technical errors, loading issues, checkout problems and other website abnormalities.
- Manage Shopify products, collections, pages, navigation, banners, apps and integrations.
- Customise Shopify themes using Liquid.
- Implement UI/UX, design and functionality changes.

Web Development

- Develop custom-coded websites and web pages from scratch based on business requirements.
- Build, modify and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and relevant frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and independently resolve technical bugs and functionality issues.
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast, secure and optimised across desktop and mobile.
- Manage integrations, APIs, third-party tools and web applications.

SEO & Organic Growth

- Take ownership of the website's on-page, technical and basic off-page SEO.
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.
- Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, URLs, headings, content,



internal linking and image alt text.
- Monitor website indexing, crawlability, redirects, broken links, sitemap and robots.txt.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues affecting website performance and rankings.
- Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings and search performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Work on improving Core Web Vitals, page speed and overall search experience.
- Coordinate SEO requirements with content and marketing teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience managing Shopify websites.
- Proven ability to build and develop coded websites from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify Liquid and theme customisation.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO tools.
- Good understanding of responsive design and UI/UX.
- Ability to independently diagnose and fix website bugs.
- Understanding of website speed, performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, hosting and domain management is an advantage.
- 2 yrs of relevant experience in Shopify, web development and SEO.

Someone who can own the entire website ecosystem - from managing Shopify and building custom-coded websites to fixing technical issues and driving organic visibility through SEO.

This is a hands-on role, not just a website administration position. We need someone who can build, manage, troubleshoot, optimise and continuously improve the website.
