- Manage and supervise engineering activities during the assigned shift.
- Operate and monitor HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted and secure power supply.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and monitor operating parameters.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and coordinate with technicians for quick rectification.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Maintain shift logs, checklists, breakdown reports and maintenance records.
- Allocate duties to technicians and monitor shift activities.
- Coordinate with clients and other facility-management teams.
- Follow PTW, LOTO and other safety procedures.
- Handle emergencies and ensure proper shift handover.
- Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems and facility operations.
- Knowledge of DG, transformer, UPS, APFC and electrical distribution systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and team-management skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
