Position: Painter

Qualification: 8th / 10th pass preferred

Experience: 13 years preferred

Shift: Rotational shifts

Job Responsibilities

- Perform painting and touch-up work in buildings and facility areas.
- Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, windows and other surfaces before painting.
- Carry out surface cleaning, sanding, scraping, putty and primer application.
- Apply emulsion, enamel, texture and other paints as required.
- Perform internal and external painting works.
- Identify cracks, peeling paint, dampness and other surface defects and report them.
- Mix paints, primers and other materials according to required specifications.
- Maintain painting tools, brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other materials.
- Complete painting jobs within the assigned schedule.




- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work location.
- Follow PPE, work-at-height and other safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor/Engineer for daily work assignments.
- Ensure quality of finishing and minimize material wastage.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of painting and surface-preparation techniques.
- Ability to work with different types of paints and finishes.
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and good finishing skills.
- Ability to work safely at height when required.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
