Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 25 years preferred

Shift: Rotational shifts

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff and daily cleaning activities.
- Allocate duties and work areas to housekeeping associates.
- Monitor cleanliness of offices, common areas, washrooms, corridors and other assigned areas.
- Ensure cleaning schedules and SOPs are followed properly.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain required housekeeping standards.
- Monitor availability and proper use of cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, attendance records and daily reports.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety and proper chemical usage.
- Coordinate with the Facility Manager and client representatives.
- Handle housekeeping complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline,



grooming and performance.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping inventory and report material requirements.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per site requirements.
- Conduct shift handover and report significant issues to the next shift.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to supervise and manage a housekeeping team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Good reporting, inspection and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
