Role Purpose

To oversee and manage end-to-end operations of CFA (Carrying &

- Forwarding Agent) / Distribution Centers, ensuring productive inventory management, timely dispatch, compliance with operational standards, and cost control, while maintaining product quality and hygiene.

Scope of Role


- Management of CFA / Distribution Centers


- Handling outbound distribution and inter-warehouse movements


- Ensuring coordination between plant, CFA/DC, and customers

Key Responsibilities

- CFA/DC Operations Management


- Oversee day-to-day operations at CFA / DC locations.


- Ensure smooth functioning of warehousing, dispatch, and documentation activities.
- Invoicing &
- Documentation


- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of materials to all customers from CFA/DC and plant.


- Maintain proper documentation and system updates for all dispatches.

Inventory

Management


- Manage and control inventory at CFA / DC.


- Ensure stock accuracy through regular monitoring and reconciliation.


- Maintain minimum stock variances and ensure system hygiene.
- FIFO Compliance


- Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In First Out) principles.


- Minimize expiry and aging losses through effective stock rotation.
- Freight &
- Invoice Processing


- Manage freight and warehouse invoice booking for CFA/DC operations.






- Ensure timely verification and submission as per company guidelines.
- Dispatch &
- Vehicle Loading


- Supervise &/or Coordinate loading of vehicles at CFA/DC.


- Ensure correct quantity, product, and documentation prior to dispatch.


- Optimize loading efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Hygiene, Safety &
- Audit Compliance


- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained at CFA/DC.


- Conduct frequent stock audits and physical verification.


- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Product

Quality &
- Storage


- Ensure products are stored under desired conditions to maintain quality.


- Monitor handling practices to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Loss Prevention &
- Claims Management


- Track and report instances of: o Product damage o Leakages


- Initiate and manage insurance claims in coordination with relevant teams. 10.

Transportation

Coordination


- Arrange vehicles for: o Customer shipments , Inter CFA/DC transfers , Part-load movements


- Optimize transport utilization and ensure timely availability.
