We are looking for an experienced Store In-Charge to manage the complete day-to-day operations of the stores, including inventory management, material receipt, storage, issuance and stock control. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring timely availability of materials for production and coordinating with Purchase, Production, Quality and Accounts teams.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a manufacturing workplace, strong knowledge of inventory and material management, and the ability to maintain systematic store operations with minimum stock discrepancies.
Key Responsibility
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the stores and inventory.
- Receive incoming raw materials, components and other items and verify them against purchase orders, invoices and required specifications.
- Ensure proper physical inspection, counting, identification and storage of received materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all material receipts, issues, transfers and returns.
- Issue raw materials and components to the production team as per approved requirements and production plans.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials required for production.
- Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate stock registers, inventory records and system entries.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Stores / Inventory / Material Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling raw materials, components and production-related inventory.
- Good knowledge of Goods Receipt, Material Issue, Stock Transfer, Stock Reconciliation and Inventory Control.
