Job Summary

SMFG India Credit is hiring Agency Managers to manage and develop the agency channel, drive business growth, and ensure achievement of sales and collection targets through effective team and agency partner management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop the agency channel to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage agency partners/field executives.
- Drive achievement of sales, collection, productivity, and portfolio targets.
- Monitor agency performance and ensure effective utilization of the assigned team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to agency partners.
- Build strong relationships with agencies and ensure consistent business generation.
- Monitor field activities, customer acquisition, follow-ups, and collection performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly performance through MIS and dashboards.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Credit, Operations, Collections,



and Branch teams.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational or customer-related issues.
- Ensure effective market coverage and identify opportunities for business growth.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in agency management, sales, collections, field operations, banking, NBFC, or fintech.
- Experience in managing agency partners / field teams will be preferred.
- Strong sales, relationship management, and team-handling skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong target orientation and ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned market/territory.
