Job Summary

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate, activity-based lessons while fostering creativity, confidence, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning
- Plan and conduct engaging, play-based learning activities.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Foster early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
- Use storytelling, music, art, games, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking.

Classroom Management
- Maintain a protected, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Establish classroom routines and promote positive behaviour and discipline.




- Display students' work and create an attractive learning environment.

Student Assessment
- Monitor and assess each child's academic and developmental progress.
- Maintain student records, portfolios, and assessment reports.
- Identify students requiring additional support and communicate with parents.

Parent Communication
- Conduct regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Keep parents informed about their child's progress and development.
- Address parent queries professionally and promptly.

School Responsibilities
- Participate in school functions, celebrations, field trips, and co-curricular activities.
- Prepare teaching-learning materials and classroom resources.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Principal or Coordinator.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Early Childhood Education (ECE), Montessori, or equivalent is
