Role & responsibilities
- Estimate material, labor, and time costs
- Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor project budgets and control ongoing expenses
- Value completed site work and process payments
- Handle design changes and adjust budget forecasts
- Manage commercial risks and resolve contract disputes
Preferred candidate profile
- Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
- Robust math and analytical skills
- Knowledge of construction contracts and building laws
- Good negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office
