We are looking for an experienced and responsible Packing & Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day packing operations and support the production team. The candidate will be responsible for manpower management, production coordination, quality control, timely completion of work, and ensuring proper packing standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily packing activities and packing staff.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to daily production and packing requirements.
- Coordinate with the Production, Store, Purchase and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor production and packing targets and ensure timely completion.
- Check product quality, finishing, packaging standards and quantities before dispatch.
- Ensure proper handling and safe packing of premium and customized products.
- Identify production or packing issues and coordinate with the concerned team for quick resolution.
- Maintain proper discipline, attendance and productivity of the packing team.
- Reduce material wastage and ensure optimum utilization of packing materials.
- Monitor availability of packing materials and inform management about shortages in advance.
- Ensure work is completed according to customer specifications and approved samples.
- Maintain daily production and packing records and provide regular updates to management.
- Train recent workers and ensure proper work procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and organized working conditions in the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Packing / Production Supervision.
- Experience in manufacturing, gifting, printing, packaging, wedding cards or similar industries will be preferred.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good understanding of production and packing processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Responsible, disciplined and result-oriented approach.
