Role & responsibilities

- Developing detailed designs:Creating technical drawings, layouts, and specifications for mechanical components and systems.

- Using CAD software:Proficiently utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D models, drawings, and schematics.

- Interpreting design specifications:Understanding and interpreting design requirements, sketches, and other technical information from engineers and designers.

- Collaborating with engineers:Working closely with engineers to translate design ideas, address design problems, and refine designs.

- Ensuring accuracy and completeness:Checking dimensions, materials, tolerances, and other specifications to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements.

- Creating detailed documentation:Preparing assembly drawings, production plans, and other documentation needed for manufacturing and construction.





- Modifying and revising designs:Making necessary changes to designs based on feedback or to correct operating deficiencies.

- Preparing drawings for various purposes:Creating layout drawings, detail drawings, and assembly drawings for different stages of the design and manufacturing process.

- Using various drafting techniques:Utilizing both manual and computer-aided drafting methods to create technical drawings.

- Understanding engineering principles: Applying a robust understanding of mechanical engineering principles to create sound and functional designs.

- Should have knowledge in Understanding Architectural Standard, NBC.

- Working with various materials: Understanding the properties and applications of different materials used in mechanical design.

- Communicating effectively: Communicating clearly with engineers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure designs are understood and implemented correctly.
