Description:
The Associate Medical Manager - Hospitals will support the Medical Affairs function for the Anti-infectives portfolio with a solid focus on upcoming antibiotics launches in the hospital segment.

This is a hybrid role involving approximately 7-8 days per month of field workengaging hospital-based healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders, while the remaining time will be spent at the Head Office supporting medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communication, and cross-functional initiatives.

The incumbent will play a key role in strengthening scientific engagement, supporting launch excellence, promoting antimicrobial stewardship, and ensuring ethical and compliant dissemination of medical information.

Essential Functions:
Scientific & Medical Expertise:
- Develop strong scientific expertise in anti-infectives/antibiotics, including mechanism of action, antimicrobial resistance, treatment guidelines, and clinical evidence.
- Provide scientific support to internal stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Commercial teams.




- Keep abreast of evolving antimicrobial resistance trends, stewardship practices, and hospital treatment protocols.
- Support development and delivery of scientific training programs for internal teams.

Field Medical Engagement:
- Conduct approximately 7-8 days of field visits per monthto engage with:
- Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Infectious Disease Specialists
- Intensivists
- Microbiologists
- Hospital Pharmacists
- Lead scientific discussions on antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial resistance, stewardship, and appropriate patient selection.
- Support pre-launch and launch activities through effective scientific positioning of products.
- Gather field insights to strengthen medical strategy and brand planning.

Stakeholder Engagement & Medical Communication:
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with hospital-based healthcare professionals, KOLs, and institutions.
