As a Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure Manager (D7) in our Core Database Engineering team, you will provide hands-on technical expertise in the database domain across hybrid environments (On-Premises, AWS RDS, GCP). Working alongside the Lead DB Architect, you will execute database migrations, optimize enterprise SQL environments, and contribute to the development of reliable, high-performing database infrastructure following industry best practices. You will participate in technical design reviews, support automated workflows, and build proactive alerting and deployment pipelines for developer environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. High Availability, Disaster Recovery & Core Operations
Manage,



monitor, and optimize enterprise SQL Server environments (2016 through 2022 versions), including Always On Availability Groups (AG) and Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).
Oversee core operational health, including native backup and restore models, index management, automated health checks, security hardening, and regular OS/DB patching.
Maintain high standards for database performance, high availability, and disaster recovery across both Production and Non-Production setups.
2. Cloud Migration & Infrastructure Automation
Execute database migration waves from legacy on-premises setups to major cloud platforms (AWS EC2/RDS and/or GCP Cloud SQL), minimizing downtime and data risk.
Develop scripts and workflows using PowerShell, T-SQL, and cloud CLI tools to automate routine administrative tasks, maintenance, and monitoring.
Support deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code
