in Chennai — the 24x7 nerve center for monitoring, triage, and first response across Vultr’s global network operations.
We are seeking Network Engineers to serve as the first line of response for Vultr’s global network estate — routing, DNS, CDN, and connectivity. This is a frontline operations role for engineers who watch connectivity, routing, and link health in real time and want to grow into deeper network engineering or SRE careers. You must be comfortable working a rotational shift model — including nights, weekends, and holidays — to sustain follow-the-sun coverage.
Role Overview
The Network Engineer is the entry point of the GIOC incident lifecycle for the network tower. You monitor connectivity and routing signals, acknowledge and triage alerts within defined first-response SLAs, execute documented runbooks to resolve common connectivity issues, and escalate cleanly to Senior Network Engineer when an issue fall
