The role requires a solid understanding of process engineering principles, sustainability metrics, decarbonization strategies, and the ability to support technology selection decisions through rigorous technical and environmental evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
Perform technical evaluations of process technologies for energy, chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, hydrogen, carbon capture, and industrial decarbonization projects.
- Develop and compare process technology options based on:




- Energy efficiency
- GHG emissions
- Utility consumption
- Process performance
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX)
- Operating expenditure (OPEX)
- Reliability and operability
- Conduct process simulations and engineering studies to quantify energy usage and process efficiencies.
- Establish energy balances and identify opportunities for process optimization and heat integration.
- Evaluate technologies using sustainability and decarbonization criteria.
- Prepare technology screening studies, feasibility studies, and concept selection reports.
- Perform benchmarking of technologies against industry standards and best available techniques.
- Support front-end engineering and concept development activities.
- Develop technical evaluation matrices and decision-making frameworks for technology selection.
- Identify opportunities for:
- Energy savings
- Carbon reduction
- Utility optimization
- Process improve
