Core Responsibilities

- Machine Setup: Align and secure holding fixtures, chucks, jaws, and heavy workpieces on the vertical turning table.

- Tooling & Parameters: Select cutting tools, set tool/work offsets, and adjust feeds and speeds.

- Machining Operations: Execute turning, facing, boring, grooving, drilling, and threading.

- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

- Troubleshooting: Monitor tool wear, edit programs, and correct machining errors during production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, or Turner trade.

- Experience: 7 to 15 years of hands-on experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing environments.

- Technical Skills: Ability to read complex engineering blueprints, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and basic CNC controller logic.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
