Role Description The Visa Consultant role at The Travel Konnection is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

The Visa

Consultant will guide clients through visa application processes, including documentation checks, form filling, appointment scheduling, and submission procedures for various countries. This role involves advising clients on immigration and visa requirements, staying updated on policy changes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Daily tasks include direct client communication, resolving queries, coordinating with embassies or consulates when needed, and maintaining accurate records of applications and outcomes.

Consultant will also collaborate with other team members to support overall travel planning and deliver a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of visas and immigration, including immigration issues and country-specific entry requirements.
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with experience providing clear, reliable guidance on visa and immigration matters.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and external authorities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling documentation, deadlines, and multiple client cases.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online visa portals.
- Prior experience in travel, visa processing, or immigration consulting is preferred.
- Relevant educational background in any discipline; certification or training in travel or immigration services is an advantage.
