Tinker Village is looking for a hands-on creative who can own the full video production loop: plan, shoot, edit, animate, export, and deliver. You’ll help turn our hands-on learning experiences into strong, engaging content for schools, parents, students, social media, and the brand. This is a startup role for someone who wants to build from scratch, work across the creative process, and grow with the organisation—not just receive footage and make edits.

Responsibilities

Plan shoots: contribute to concepts, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and creative direction.

- Shoot on-ground content across classrooms, activities, events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Edit videos for learning content, brand stories, testimonials, social media, campaigns, and internal communication.
- Create motion graphics, animated explainers, titles, transitions, captions, and visual learning aids.
- Manage the complete post-production process: footage organisation, edits, feedback, sound, colour, final exports, and delivery.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve speed and quality across ideation, transcription, captioning, cleanup, rough cuts, and creative experimentation.
- Develop repeatable content formats and a consistent visual language as Tinker Village grows.

Qualifications





Robust video editing and motion-graphics ability using tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.

- Good storytelling instinct: pacing, music, sound, visual composition, typography, and emotional clarity.
- Comfortable being hands-on across planning, shooting, editing, and exporting.
- Curious about AI-enabled creative workflows, with the judgement to keep the work authentic and high quality.
- Able to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment and handle multiple projects.
