About the Role

Spotmies LLP is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with 1–2 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to produce high-quality video content for different digital platforms.

The role involves editing a variety of content, including promotional videos, social media content, marketing videos, corporate content, and short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and professional videos.
- Create videos for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Select appropriate footage, music, transitions, effects, and graphics to create a strong visual flow.
- Perform video trimming, sequencing, color correction, audio editing, and basic motion graphics.
- Add subtitles, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music when required.
- Understand project requirements and translate creative concepts into effective video content.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams.
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure final videos meet quality standards.
- Organize and manage video assets, project files, and final outputs.
- Ensure videos are delivered within deadlines and in the required formats.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends, techniques, and content styles.

Required Skills




- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of video editing principles and storytelling.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Good understanding of cuts, pacing, transitions, composition, and visual flow.
- Knowledge of basic color correction and audio editing.
- Ability to work with text, graphics, subtitles, and motion elements.
- Good understanding of different video formats and aspect ratios.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Ability to understand feedback and make quick revisions.
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with social media and digital marketing content.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of current content and video trends.
- Experience working with brand guidelines.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
