A person in this role will own (design, implement, improve, monitor and steer other teams & vendors) the overall governance & controls framework across all products, channels and services of Consumer bank. This person will ensure internal and pertinent local/ global regulatory guidelines are implemented or reports are done in time and with the desired quality. As a gatekeeper for all regulations and controls, this person will ensure the identification of operational risks, periodic awareness and management accordingly.
Key Accountabilities
Act as the CBG Unit Operations Risk Manager with below key responsibilities
Enhance CBG India's risk governance framework by actively facilitating internal committees and ensuring robust representation in bank-wide governance forums.
Develop & ensure effective recommendation of all operational risk policies, standards, and guidelines, both at the corporate and unit-specific levels.
Rigorous oversight and highlight all deviations from corporate operational risk policies, upholding stringent control standards.




Strategically coordinate all audit and regulatory inspections to ensure seamless collaboration and compliance with the requirements.
Ensure flawless and timely reporting of operational risk events including analyzing and reporting operational risk events, loss trends and root cause to Team lead and relevant risk and control committees by adhering strictly to Group standards for completeness and accuracy,
Review and provide advisory guidance on the efficacy and appropriateness of risk mitigating measures and plans.
Actively monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to identify and address emerging risks and maintain a robust risk posture.
