About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Associate

In this role, you will:
Assist with pre-close and post-close activities for commercial, commercial real estate and problem loans
Coordinate loan closings with customers
Perform customer, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance
Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgment
Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Manage an assigned portfolio of loans
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education




Desired Qualifications:
Experience in commercial loan documentation, review, or closing support.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and compliance orientation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills (macros/VBA) are an added advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a rapid‑paced production environment while meeting quality and SLA expectations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.
Knowledge of AI tools / prompt engineering is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
Understanding and Application of AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon, Agentspace) for routine tasks such as summarising information, drafting content, and analysing data, while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret AI-genera
